THE XXVII SCECSAL CONFERENCE

First held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in 1974, the Standing Conference of Eastern, Central, and Southern African Library and Information Associations (SCECSAL) brings together library, information, and knowledge professionals, organizations, and development practitioners from across the region and beyond. It serves as an open and inclusive platform to discuss emerging trends, exchange best practices, share research and innovations, and network, thereby promoting effective information, knowledge, and innovation services, as well as advancing research and development in Library and Information Science (LIS) across Eastern, Central, and Southern Africa.
