MALA Secures OPC Permission for Public-Sector Members to Attend the 3rd National Research Dissemination Conference

The Malawi Library Association (MALA) wishes to inform all Directors, Chief Executive Officers and Heads of Government Departments and Agencies that the MALA Executive has obtained permission from the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) for MALA members serving in public institutions to attend the 3rd National Research Dissemination Conference, scheduled for 28th to 29th October 2026 at Blue Waters Lake Resort, Salima.

This permission applies to MALA members who work as librarians, information officers, records managers, documentalists and other information professionals in government ministries, departments and agencies.

We therefore kindly appeal to Directors, Chief Executive Officers and Heads of Government Departments and Agencies to support their staff and facilitate their attendance at this important professional conference.
